Thursday, January 3
Time for an update. I had my fourth infusion yesterday. I am once again hooked up to the mobile pump until Friday morning. Number 4 means I am one third of the way through this treatment regiment. The end still seems like a long way off.
Today I am feeling pretty wrung out. My sensitivity to cold has also returned. My hands and throat especially react very unpleasantly to anything slightly cold. My hands tingle and burn, and my throat chokes up as if I have something stuck in it. So these are my worst symptoms, not unexpected, but unpleasant. However, we are striving to be cheerful, and productive. God is good even in His afflictions, or perhaps better said, God intends all His inflictions for good to His children, to those who love Him and are called by His name. I am eager for Friday and the pump being remvoed once again, and then as the days pass these symptoms will lessen until my next appointment.
Thank you to all who are praying, and thank you as wel for all your encouraging words and deed of love and kindness.

Hey dad! I am sorry I didn't get to call this time before your treatment. Glad to hear everything is well. I will call later this weekend when I am sure you are feeling a bit better. Miss and love you! Happy New Year!
