Half-way!

Hello to family and friends,

Yes, today, Jan 30, I have my 6th treatment, and that marks the half-way mark! Hurray! This last session has been most difficult with the symptoms being more acute. But today, two weeks beyond the last treatment, I am feeling pretty good. Lord willing, I will be able to handle these next 6 treatments ok and come spring will be able to look back with great relief that this experience is behind me. Pam and I are planning a time of celebration once this is all over.

Thank you to all who have prayed for me and encouraged me with kind words. That means so much. God is faithful in and through ALL our trials. And He does indeed answer the prayers of His children. As the palmist says,

Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more; And its place acknowledges it no longer. But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children, To those who keep His covenant, And who remember His precepts to do them.
-Psalm 103:13 -18

And a special thanks to Dave & Karen for their "do not open until Jan 30" card. Smile. It was a very nice thoughtful and gesture. We love you two very much!
